“I was referred to Dr. Fabian Tai and Associates by a family member for their Dry Eye Spa. I had recently underwent a round of Accutane which caused my eyes to become very dry and irritated, making it difficult to work my 9-5 desk job. I saw Dr. Fong for an initial dry eye consultation, which then led to four in office treatments consisting of red and blue light therapy, IPL, and eyelid expressions. My symptoms are now practically non-existent and I can finally wear my contact lenses again. I will be back every 6 months for a treatment to maintain the progress I have made. Thank you Dr. Fong & team! I will be forever grateful!”

FAQ
How often should I come for an eye exam?
Healthy adults should have eye exams every 2 years. Adults who have eye disease or conditions that increase their risk of eye disease (e.g. diabetes, taking certain medications) should have their eyes checked more often as recommended by their optometrist.
What special testing do you offer?
We have scans that analyze the outside and inside of the eye in great detail. This allows us to detect things that cannot be seen even by our microscope. By finding signs of disease early, we can be proactive in preventing vision loss or eye discomfort.
We also have scans that look at eye alignment. Further testing by the doctor can also assess your speed and accuracy of focus, and eye control. This can identify ways we can help those suffering from headache, eyestrain, imbalance, dizziness, or double vision.
What foods are best for my eyes?
Foods rich in antioxidants – lutein and zeaxanthin – are good for a your eyes and brain. These are found in green leafy vegetables, like spinach, kale, brussel sprouts, and broccoli.
Omega 3s are also important for anti-inflammation and dry eye. These can be found in fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines) and nuts.
What technology do you offer in your glasses?
Glasses are a science but also an art! It takes much more than just a prescription to make a good pair of glasses you love to wear.
We have tested numerous types and qualities of frames and lenses. When sourcing our products, we always want something that will be lightweight and durable, and we want it to protect you from the sun and digital screens.
We are also trained to fit a special type of glasses (Neurolens) that are uniquely designed to relieve migraines, improve dry eye sensation, and reduce eyestrain.
